Whoa!!!! That thing is unbelievable!! Where on earth did you even acquire such a thing? I’ve been trying to find a Texas Special, JC-QM1, or JCRG10-02 FOREVER!!! None of them have the tree of life and like yours one has an Ebony board. GLORIOUS!!

Whoa!!!!!!!! Where?!?! How?!?!
Give me, give me, I want, I want,
I NEEEEEEED!!!

I can't choose between these... Both are awesome and i'm lucky to have them.

Took me quite a while to get both.

On the left a PRS Custom 24/08 wood library with artist grade quilted maple top.

On the right a PRS Custom 24 wood library with flame maple 10 top and flame maple neck

This is my favorite. It's some kind of one-off Blade. I've never come across another one exactly like it. It's a dark ocean blue R3 with the falcon tremolo and the VSC preamp boost. It also has Sperzel locking tuners. Most of the ocean blue Blades have a black pickguard, but mine is white. The back is cut out to better allow upper access to the high frets. I tell you, Gary Levinson was ahead of his time in the early 1990s. Nowdays you see these upgrades everywhere, but it wasn't always so. The blue is actually better looking with indirect sunlight. The pickups were replaced with Fender noiseless, but the preamp boost is basically an added overdrive pedal in the guitar. I can get really heavy and great sustain with this guitar. Most people are surprised to see it's single coils after they hear how heavy it is.

Here was my main guitar I played till around Covid live for small gigs or venues and used it a lot to record with. It was one of Jeff’s guitars made in 2005 and he gifted it to his tech who I was friends with around 2010. Most of the music I played through it was Hard Rock like Alice In Chains when I played with a local band. I rarely ever actually did Metallica or Slayer covers live. I used to get compliments like “cool camo” or something similar till around then end of Covid. I noticed people were getting offended by the inlays so I stopped playing out with it because I know some idiot would try to intentionally damage the guitar in the name of “social justice.” Anyways it’s retired and I still use it to record because it will do way more in the sound and tone department when it comes to Metallica or Slayer.
