That's not my intent.
I clicked on an ICE thread, read through the entire thing.
Lots of funny stuff, entertaining as hell. One member's posts in particular stuck out, reading this as a newb.
I have family in MA so i am familiar with their laws. This guy claims to be from MA but has no idea what the laws actually are.
I see now that it was mistake to engage, guess i'll just wait for the gatekeeper to tell me when and where it's OK to post.

nah, but I live in a Constitutional area that supports all of the bill of rights, Constitutional carry, castle doctrine and stand your ground; so not much invader related crime here.

I still lock my doors though which is basic common sense which is commonly lacking in sanctuary areas.

This should be the end for Gavin. You might be left leaning and even hate Trump but if you support illegal immigration you are on the wrong side of this. Just look at Sweden, Germany or Austria for examples of open border policies. Even Obama was against it. What has changed? The only way Dems, with their terrible policies, can win future elections is with a deal with the devil.

Now Gavin is supporting violent protests and the looting of his city? Good luck with that. How many west coast cities are going to put up with this nonsense? We have already lost Seattle and San Fran to this bullshit.

My daughters are the 4th generation to live in this house, and you think I’m pushing my luck because of stuff you hear on the news? Cmon man

Covid and the BLM peaceful protests should have been the end of him, but there are millions of people here that are either intellectually dishonest or just clueless. They have this idea that one issue is more important than anything else, and it's usually either something with women's rights or some issue having to do with racism. Anyone who doesn't agree with Newsom must not support women's rights or must be a racist, in their eyes. If we could just get Californians to see the real Newsom: the guy with 5 mansions, the guy who was out dining at expensive restaurants without a mask during the lockdown, the guy who was injured from the vaccine he told everyone to take -- then people might wake up.

Not a whole lot has changed really. Main Street a bit and we cater a bit more to tourism than we once did, but overall it’s a small town the same it was always a small town.
Actually since Covid we have more second home owners than we used to, which means more homes sitting vacant most days of the years. Shocking crime is still low huh?
 
Well, the housing market is trending downward, which is good news. The government response to Covid created this temporary illusion that housing was going to keep rising. People can't find tenants now to rent those 2nd homes, thus they go back on the market. We're at the highest inventory for sale since 2019. A good time to be patient if in the market for a home, and offer much lower than the ask.
