Some one used to do a East Coast one every year .... way back ... HCAF days ...

What killed it ? Youtube ? Someone to organize it ?

I used to host one in our jam room every year, and it blew up when I started posting on here. I tried to throw a bigger one at my buddy's studio, but the roof leaked the week of the party.

The first one that Rig-Talk sanctioned had Wolfe Amplification as a guest builder, and Eric brought his Hellfire amp. It ripped. The second was supposed to have Kyle Rhodes back when he was Rhodes Amplification. I was bummed that one fell apart. I haven't done one since.

Attended one locally (Cleveland) probably 15 or so years ago. The host is a member here. Still buy from another attendee member and bump into both from time to time. I learned a lot and would love to attend another.

Was it mine back in a storage unit?

There was a guy, James Lugo, that did some serious ampfests back in the day. I think he is still around in North Carolina.

He had Reinhold Bogner and Dave Friedman there, lots of folks streamed those

I still keep in touch with James. He moved out of NC and significantly downsized his studio. He’s been family oriented for a long time and still does studio work but I doubt he would host again like he did before. I can reach out and ask though?

I suppose the Logistics are the big issue ...... probably too much space in between forumites ....

I know I wouldn't want to drive more than a couple of hours to get to one
