Sometimes yea, but again, the push is not unique to MA.
Plus unless you live in Boston, a large percentage of contractors are pulled from bordering states

I have family in MA that's why i bring it up. It's nothing personal but that MA mindset is something else.

That’s true for sure.
Unless the mom and pop has stuff, we are stuck ordering online or driving a couple hours.
Our plumbing codes are a bit excessive sometimes, but you get used to it. I’m pretty over low water toilets and showers though lol

I’m not sure how it’s a mindset. Reports come out every year that are not based out of Massachusetts, that support the claims I make about it.
I personally love it, but I loved living in eastern PA too.

Yeah, low flow toilets i.e flush twice and ultimately use more water. Kinda like FL building codes working backwards from it's intended purpose. I overcame the low flow shower by just installing a bathtub/faucet instead. I can't break out my toy boat collection in a shower anyways. :LOL:
