...and what an incredible concert it was! 🤘There were ~75.000 ppl in attendance. The new drummer played very well and I think I've never seen Iron Maiden live with a huge drum sound like this. The band seemed to have something to prove and they played very well. The new stage production looks great and the setlist is killer. Could not believe they put in so many longer tunes to their setlist. I was in the 6th row from the front barrier, in front of Murray and Smith, and it was quite a wrestle at times but it is always like that. It was really nice to see their hometown gig and I'm very happy I travelled to England to see them. SPOILER ALERT: setlist in the next post!

No, but have seen them many times during the 80's and 90's. They always delivered.

Must have been incredible to see them in the 80s. I have seen all their gigs in Finland since 2013 and this gig was the best I've seen from them.

Awesome, I am glad to hear that.

Halestorm was a positive surprise! Lzzy really worked hard to get the audience going and I think the audience liked them. Some nice custom Gibsons she and her solo guitarist had. 👌

I'm waiting to see what dates will be on a North American tour. Saw clips from that show, holy shit what a crowd! also what a performance.. I can't believe how Bruce can still bring it. He makes sure to hit the high parts where he needs to and still has power. Band is dialed in. Janick sucks but whatever, they turn him down. Maiden is timeless and show what work ethic and good health does for your career.

I saw them on the powerslave tour and Bruce's voice was buried in the mix. He said in an interview later that 'you cannot re string a voice'. Power vocals and constant touring took their toll. I was bummed following the show because that was 'the era' of classic metal.
Every month there were killer new bands that ALL had killer singers.

We lived at the record store buying every new album or cassette. :m17: Bruce, Dio, Halford Tate all top contenders for best ever!!

I found that when Bruce rejoined (99) I thought his voice was way stronger than 80's bootlegs imo

Adrian is playing Marshall JVM's Murray is play a couple sNax FX.

What an incredible thing: to see Iron Maiden in their hometown! Props to you for making the trip.

I first saw Iron Maiden on their Piece of Mind Tour. Twisted Sister opened. Twisted Sister sucked and Maiden was of course, Maiden. They are legend - all of them.

Thanks for posting.

I wish there was a time traveling machine to get to see Iron Maiden, Metallica etc in the 80s...

Saw Halestom open for Alice Cooper.
Fantastic band! Rocked!

Wow, what a great set list!
Firing on all cylinders and that's the set list? God damn!

Please dont think I am being negative, as they are representing early albums fairly well, but would love to see Somewhere in Time deep cuts.

I saw them at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, in 2023 on their Future Past tour and they played Caught Somewhere in Time, Stranger in a Strange Land, Heaven Can Wait, Alexander the Great and Wasted Years from SIT on that tour. The SIASL solo was worth the ticket price alone. 😁

I really wish they had made a concert video from SIT album tour...
