Saw Iron Maiden at the London Stadium

I wish there was a time traveling machine to get to see Iron Maiden, Metallica etc in the 80s...
Here’s the time machine. Between the two of us - we have it covered. I can attest, Maiden was, and has remained one of, if not arguably the best bands that ever has been. I think I’d skip the Ozzy show to see Maiden on their home turf if given the choice between the two. If Megadeth was on the bill - that wouldn’t hurt my feelings either.

Cheers for what must have been an incredible show

I saw them at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, in 2023 on their Future Past tour and they played Caught Somewhere in Time, Stranger in a Strange Land, Heaven Can Wait, Alexander the Great and Wasted Years from SIT on that tour. The SIASL solo was worth the ticket price alone. 😁

I really wish they had made a concert video from SIT album tour...

Can I ask...was Happy Birthday "Maiden-ized"?

Points for Bruce in bird/feathered mask!

I last saw them in Buffalo, '21 maybe?

Wish I’d seen them with Clive Burr & Paul DiAnno but I was too little. I was 13 going on 14 and my Dad took me to the POM concert. It was awesome.

What an incredible thing: to see Iron Maiden in their hometown! Props to you for making the trip.

I first saw Iron Maiden on their Piece of Mind Tour. Twisted Sister opened. Twisted Sister sucked and Maiden was of course, Maiden. They are legend - all of them.

Thanks for posting.
the hessian next to me stood up on his chair armrest guzzling shots from his bota bag and booed so hard during twisted sister he threw up on the row in front of us and then passed out in the aisle.

that’s hatred.🤣

dee walked off after 3 songs.

Seeing them at Radio City Music Hall for the Powerslave tour was just as awesome as it gets.
I remember they played like four or five nights there on that tour and thought that must have been a great venue to see that show. Their stop in Houston on the Powerslave tour (with WASP opening) was my first time seeing them, saw them on Somewhere In Time and Seventh Son at the old Summit, also...great memories from those shows.

There were a handful of bands around that time that were awesome to see live.

Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, VH of course, and Dio. All could reproduce live.

Some bands not so much like Ratt, motley crue and Dokken.

My Dad was no metal fan but just really knew I wanted to go bad. He'd always complain about the smell of marijuana cigarettes in the air and didn’t trust me to my own devices..he even didn’t trust me to Mom who took me to Aerosmith concerts since it seemed like I was five. Pops also took me to see Ozzy’s Bark at the Moon tour when Motley Crue dropped Shout at the Devil. I have a real cool Dad.

During Twisted Sister, my Dad just laughed and said ‘who are these clowns’ 😂

Great memories

I've been to see Maiden around 20 odd times since 1990, and Saturday night was possibly the best show I've seen them play. Amazing

i was at this concert in Long Beach for one of the two shows they recorded to make this album.

it was nuts and right there with scorpions blackout and priest screaming for vengeance as some of the most iconic metal shows i’ve attended.
Yeah man!! Summer Strut at Anaheim stadium was around that time. I was there and Then in the fall at LBA or the Forum. Maiden on NOTB tour and Scorps were touring Blackout. Classic times. Summer Strut. Maiden opening, then Scorps, followed by the headliners LoverBoy and Foregner. LOL
