I read that Bogner is coming out with a new version of the 100 watt Ecstasy in 2025, supposedly based on the Pandora. Anybody have any news on this?

I wonder if they know how much not having that hurts them?
Maybe they’re not hurting though? It might be for what size they want to be or can manage to maintain, their reputation and product have been enough. Not defending it, in that it annoys me too but it’s literally been years that they haven't had a working site. It can’t possibly matter to them.

How can a legendary amp designer not have a website?

The demand is high enough and they have been backordered for years on products. Don't want to spend money on something that will net them zero profit. Bogner is most likely deciding to stay a small boutique company. There margins are probably pretty thin, and they don't want to spend money on something that won't make a difference.

Howard Dumble never had a website either.....:ROFLMAO:

I guess Bogner would‘t mention working on a new model even if they had a website. Other manufacturers don‘t either, they just release it one day. I was curious if anybody maybe had some inside info.

The Pandora was an odd ball. Seems that not a lot were made and it got mixed reviews from people that tried one. Lots of love for the recent 35 watt and 50 watt versions though.

I've got a 101B but never played a Pandora, but from what I've read it's like a more modernized, tighter, brighter Ecstasy. I have to say though, if they just took a standard 101B and gave it some of Pandora's features like a dedicated Depth knob, Presence and Depth frequency selector switches, and maybe the Schizo switch or something without messing with the core tone otherwise... I mean I don't see that as anything but an improvement.

Been tracking this as well, haven't heard anything recently. It'll probably add some/all of the new swtiches from the updated 50w 3534s, maybe some things from the Pandora. Sweetwater bumped back stock on the 101b and 20th XTCs to later in the year, so it's possible Bogner is prepping for a release soon. I'd love to see the 101/Classic toggle on the input like the Pandora has.

I’ve had 7 XTC’s, currently have a 100b and a 50w.

Get rid of the tube loop, use the one from the 50w. Give me the GREEN, PLEXI and the RED from the 20th and the BLUE from the 100b. That’s all I ask.

7? That’s hardcore. What would you compare XTC’s to? JVM? Is there any carry over from higher gain like the uberschall?

Just give me the plexi and the blue from the 101b. And please, regular black tolex

He should just start a new webpage with one image that you have to click to get to the amp info. The image being him at NAMM in that see through jumpsuit with his manhood showing.

Let’s see how much you guys really want to read about new models on this website and how much you are all talk.

May I ask, are you still enjoying the 50w and does it compare well to the other XTCs you've had?

It is outstanding. And everyone shits on the dark/deep mode but man, it is awesome with a Strat and you can do the whole velvety Dumble thing.

I dunno 🤷🏻‍♂️ it is a lovely Marshall without too much filtering or negative feedback and a little extra gain. It is that zingy pillowy goodness that somehow still preserves a bit of the players dynamic. Especially the 100b and 20th anniversary.

If you want super tight chugging, look elsewhere. There is plenty of gain, but the extra filtering and negative feedback that it takes to get the tightness with all that gain removes the players’s ability to control dynamics.
