Okay, this is more reasonable. Just FYI, once someone owns a firearm, it doesn't just magically change them into a different person. Take an asshole gun owner, remove the gun and you just have an asshole.

Absolutely. I get the appeal of guns. I used to live down the road from a shooting range and would go pretty often.
I’ve also lived places that made me consider owning one.
But if you made a Venn diagram of people who think guns are a God given right, people who take the right to form a militia to protect themselves very seriously, and people who cheerlead a faceless organization that takes care of “invaders”; I think it’s easy to see how the center of that diagram will be a black mark in our history
