Growing up in NYS my entire life, we’ve had pretty great weather.
We get all four seasons.

Obviously up north, we were known for snowfall.

But here in the Finger Lakes the weather has always been great in my years.

Today though, really in the last ten years or so, we definitely get less snow. Not really much to talk about.
Winter is mainly cold and cloudy.

Our summers these days I’d consider tropical.
Hot and humid. Definitely more moisture.

We now get tornado warnings…and some actually land.

Yesterday though, there were no warnings.
No alarms coming over our phones.

Why do liberals always spout their worthless anecdotes about weather like it actually matters, and then if someones anecdotes are contrary, they immediately say how meaningless personal anecdotes are?
Gotta admit, your comment isn't making sense to me?
Its a sad morning.
Fortunately no lives lost.

We arent used to this type of weather in NY.

We had about 117 tornados in Missouri this year. 2 went through my neighborhood. Second highest in the nation for touch downs. Definitely not typical. Most of north St. Louis was destroyed.

My street a few months back.

Thats absolutely horrible Floyd.
hope everyone is ok.

I'm not trying to take away from what others have had to go thru/endure within the rest of the country.
To be quite honest, I almost didn't make the post because our experience last night is small potatoes compared to the rest of the country.

Just a new experience for us up here...

If this post offends anyone, please let me know and Ill delete it.
Not my intention.

All I know is winter is massachusetts this year was brutal as ever. Maybe not much snow, but fucking freezing my ass off for 7 months. Fuck climate change.
I think we are entering an ice age. But I'm not a scientist. Just watched a few videos which had some compelling evidence, but others say we are leaving an ice age still. Who knows. All I know is New England Weather is FUCKING MISERABLE. No spring this year. Just fucking rain rain rain. Have to spend 3/4 of your life inside when you live in New England.

Actually, we dealt with quite a bit of rain this spring as well as cold.
Somehow March was pretty nice though.

I still dont have a steady mow schedule for home yet due to rain.
I have areas that get quite wet, but by June I am pretty regular in my mowing.

At this point, I am just picking which day is nice to bang it out.
And still have to fit in trailering to my inlaws to take care of theirs as well.

Thanks buddy. We all made due. As we always do.

World was supposed to end a million times over already.
I remember discussions about global cooling and fear of a new ice age coming back in the '70s.

then it was global warming with Al Gore....

now it's climate change. meanwhile the earth has been having climate changes since it was formed.

Of all my concerns about the future, climate change isn't anywhere near the top. Invaders, libtards and Islam are bigger threats to our future than anything else IMO.

This is the hottest summer i remember and it's just early July, temps in the 90s and dewpoints in the 70s week after week. A delightful break yesterday when it stayed in the 70s but dewpoint still made it a sweaty day...and of course back to the high 80s - 90s for the foreseeable future. I love working outside but have come close to sun stroke several times...get dizzy & wobbly, sit down & drink water for a few minutes.

I drove through Ovid and Romulus one rainy night. Pretty creepy...but cool.

That one pic I posted of that funnel, kinda dead center of road was Romulus.

Its gotten pretty touristy these days with all the wineries and breweries around the lake.

Seneca Army Depot shut down.
Five Points prison is a mess.
Camp Babcock Hovey was sold out from the Boy Scouts from what I hear are to afford legal fees?
