The most important political thread you will ever read

3 pertinent things:

1) Not his own house.
2) It wasn't just that thread.
3) It's against the rules anyway, no exceptions.

Hey brother, hope you're well.

He wasn't "admonished for something so innocuous".

He was kindly asked to refrain from the behaviour. Hardly admonishment. I even went beyond what was required by explaining the well-established forum-etiquette reasoning behind the rule.

Again, not just that thread.

Victimless crime, I agree. Except that that only applies when an infringement such as this is a one-off.

It wasn't a one-off 'cause similar actions were taken in other threads that same day. Best to nip it in the bud at that point with a polite request, don't you think bro'?

You have patience of the gods. I hope tonight you are well, and I hope my comments haven't seemed like I am against you.

There have been a few times I have disagreed with you and that is normal as we all dont see things the same. This is one of those times. But it isn't the end of the world.

I 100% see your points and dont think the banning was outlandish. I simply dont think it should have come to it, but I have said my piece and feel like it is all out there now.

Thank you and of course not bro'; I know you mean well.

100% "it shouldn't have come to it".

I've only had to call peeps out maybe 4 or 5 times on this tops in the past 3 years and of course, as you'd expect, all of them bar none complied and usually apologised, to which I of course said "think nothing of it bro'".

It should have been a nothing burger but someone in the kitchen wanted to heap a bunch o' mayo on it.
