Frank Marino playing again

Perfect timing! Frank and I were talking a day or two ago. He told me his favorite pickups are the Lindy Fralin Twangmasters. (This particular guitar only has 1 Twangmaster, in the neck position). He also installed a set of the Twangmasters in his number 1 guitar over a year ago. He's in love with those pickups and highly recommends them. He uses the normal output Twangmaster in both positions. He digs 'em because now he can get a much strattier tone from his SG. He said that as far as noise goes, they're the quietest humbuckers he's ever played.

He also had very high praise for the Lindy Fralin noiseless P90 pickups.

I'm surprised that Frank doesn't wind his own pickups to be honest.

One of my favorite solos of all time , starts at 5:55 and just builds from there . Fantastic live album too

People buy his $500 Signature pedals that he builds by hand.

I have no doubt they'd buy his Signature pickups and he wouldn't have to build them. Lindy can nail that.

Glad to see Frank back and playing somewhere at least. I am a big fan - he is awesome. Poppy is my jam ha. Saw him I think in 2007 in Cleveland. He was killer and still had his chops. Guy should have been a bigger name.
