Desperate cry. I’m done.

At least until the brown dudes do to the butchers what they did to roofers, landscapers, carpet layers and what they’re currently doing to carpenters. Remember when roofers were in the carpenters union ? I do.
Ive been in 3 Unions, wouldn't give me the time of day in da 80's to save my life.
But when Missouri threatned to go "right to work" boy did they want my vote on that.
Carpenters in STL hall used to be in STL, now its in Chicago and thier leader was accused of taking bribes.
Local 57# "electrians" from the "carpenters" union is in direct competition with Local# 1 ELECTRICIANS UNION IBEW. Got many friends in the trades.
I got a lifetime of "union brotherhood" stories.
All unions here are bloated and have more members than work contracts to go around.
They spend 6 months a year collecting un-employment and the only work projects they do get are TIF [tax increment finacing] gigs funded by taxpayers.
Don't bust my chops about unions, gtfo.

So that’s it guys, I have hit rock bottom. Rough months followed each other for far too long. Some family medical bills, a little bit of this a little bit of that and I here I am drowning out here.

Some of you guys I even asked about jobs, but no avail. I managed to find something locally that will hopefully pay me somewhat survivable wage, but gotta survive until further interview stages first. Lost 25 pounds in two weeks and counting. Rent and debt are at cutthroat phase.

Can’t even start a gofundme as my country isn’t eligible. Not a single ray of hope to get out of this living hell.

If any of you guys know how and can help me out with setting up that fundraiser, please do. The goal is at $2k to breathe a bit easier.

Also if someone has a remote job they know about, no matter what it is, I’d to it all 24/7 for half the minimum US wage.

Sorry if I stained your day with negativity.

God bless y’all and your loved ones. Peace out 🤘🏻

Are there any nearby countries that could be a start? I've heard of people taking things in steps, 1-2 countries first to get to Europe, Canada, USA;

even Japan has a work visa program and they're importing Pakistanis which isn't going to well since Japan is a very high trust society.

look at givesendgo.com for fund raising? https://www.givesendgo.com/

How positively Republican of you. 😂😂😂

Really one of the few things you and I agree on. I’m in a ( useless) union, but only because I have to be to work here.

Nevertheless, it’s funny to hear you talk about living paycheck to paycheck and how everything is so expensive and the economy sucks and then on the other hand be ok with basically slave labor taking what used to be skilled trades and turning it into menial labor.

Not GOP or Dem.
AMERICAN.
yeah thats the union busting credo that the unions make you pay dues whether you wanna or not.
Unless someone is holding a gun to yer head most folks do or should know wtf about that shit when they sign up.
GM in Wentzville went from $70 an hour to $16 and they can keep you in "temp" status indefinetly never knowing if you have a job or not.
UAW hired me thru a temp service in da 90's telling me what a great job it was.
What it really was is i was hired as a UAW temp w/a 90 probationary period basically to fill in for UAW's that were on vacation.
On my 89th day they sent me packin. No explanation.
I was drinking alot and wanted to scalp someone. Union brotherhood.
Not even the first time for that type of shite.

Russia? 😁

All of those Europe countries like welfare scum and dislike us. We need visas there too. Shit is a bit complicated to pull off while figting for survival.

They all want them gypsies to go work there for 3rd world wages. Which is even worse, as you earn third world but live in first world. Like gutter oil in China level of life.

And nobody looks like welcoming educated specialists, as they have their own.

I’ve been a Teamster and I was a union carpenter. In the 80s when the housing market blew up I got sick of sitting in the hall and not being able to do any side work to feed myself unless it was union. So I gave them my card and went to work the next day. From about ‘88 until 2012 I owned a contracting company. Your boy Obama fucked that up and up and I took a union job, which I still have.

In house union that provides no benefits. Dues are currently about $130/ month.

I voted for McCain LOL. And pailin titties.
Did not vote for the Mormon.

There’s a truss place twenty minutes from here that imports a pile of Mexicans every six months. Dude has a building with the office in the bottom and they all live upstairs. They work six months and go home and they bring in another crew. It’s legal. Why couldn’t you do that? He pays them a standard wage…. He had to do that because he couldn’t get workers. These fuckin crackheads wouldn’t hit a lick at nothing.

Sorry to hear it's been rough, man.

I'm just now coming out of a year of similar hell; my dog needed emergency surgery last Dec that wiped out my savings and had me paying a friend back for 6-7 months before I had a dime to spend on anything non-essential and in that time my job was really taking the life out of me while members of my family were diving headfirst into mental illness that required me distancing myself from them after much effort was put in to steer them in the right direction. Dad's living in his car and mom is living on grace and goodwill from others who realize she's not all-there and haven't evicted her yet,.

We can really beat the shit of ourselves in these times; thinking we didn't do enough to prevent it or aren't doing enough to resolve it when in many cases, we're powerless the entire time. Then when the situation resolves itself it's easy to think "If I just let go instead of holding on with a death grip, I would have gotten through that so much easier"

Since you mentioned God, I don't feel out of place saying this, but I've recently had some experiences that made me considerably change my thoughts on Him. I was interpreting everything as "Why is this happening to me, I'm just trying to help people..." or "Of course I get the shit end of the stick" when I now believe those situations were put in front of me so I learned a few more lessons to make the 2nd half of my life the best I can make it. It was always unfathomable to me when people would say "Let go and let God", like "How is he going to pay my damn rent?!?!", but I now understand the clarity letting go provides and it's only when we've got that clarity can we start to see the wealth of options we have that'll change our situation.

I don't have a solution for you, but I suggest this-

Take the rest of today to be angry and pissed off about the hand you're currently holding and get it all out. Write it all down, shout it, punch it into a wall, whatever it takes, but tomorrow when you wake up you do not allow yourself to dwell or recycle the list of grievances you have with the situation, or the things you could have done differently to prevent it, instead, hand that list off to Him and ensure your head is clear in order to fully see the options you have in front of you. Lean on your faith in knowing He will provide abundance while also knowing you'll only receive it if you're open to doing so. And every time you feel that anger or resentment for the situation hit your gut, hand it off to Him because you've got more important things to focus on.

Good luck and God bless.

Best of luck @CrystalSky

I'm rooting for you

No matter what is going on, you know you can always log in to Rig-Talk to talk to friends, get a laugh, and blow off some steam.
Thanks bro. Love y’all guys 🫶🏻

Tried to FaceTime you but no bueno….
No missed calls on my end 🤔

Thanks for the support. Glad that you also made it out your year of hell. I am not a religious person, but I always wish God’s blessing to those who are.

I am chugging along, like a Little Engine that Could, but this neverending downwards spiral is ceasing all hope for a better day.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties You have had... Best of luck to You and Yours, I am sure the things will turn to better soon! 🤝
