Mesa Half Stack Value?

I have a Mesa Dual Rec Roadster with a Mesa 4x12 Cab with V30’s. Incredibly low hours and 10/10 aesthetic condition, excluding the rubber has pulled away from one end of the amp handle. Not structural, just noting because it’s a visible “defect”. The amp does have the “pop” issue where there is an audible pop the first time you switch between any channel after power on. If you cycle through all the buttons after power on, the issue goes away and does not return until the next power on.

What’s a realistic sale value? Would need to be local due to the cost of shipping the 4x12.

$1500 for the head.

Maybe $800 for the cab. I see them listed for $1k pretty frequently, but those listing are always around for quite a while.

Honestly not sure. Is there a way to ID it?

Yeah, depends on the dates of both. I got my Dual Rec used for $1400 and my 4x12 Traditional for $500 used. So $2,000 would be a rock solid deal. Maybe start at $2,200 based on some more info. The popping sound during channel switching is pretty well known and should be no surprise to anyone buying a Rectifier. The handles are easy to replace. Mine is torn too a bit but is leather. Need to replace. Cabs are ridiculous to ship as stated but shouldn't have any trouble moving along locally.

Is there a year they switched to rubber handles for the head?

Edit: Never mind, the leather handle is on my Rectoverb. Dual has plastic handle.

All,
Thanks for the input - much appreciated. Here’s a few pictures to add detail. As mentioned, the amp handle is solid, but the rubber has pulled out of the “clamp”. Not a big deal, but included for clarity. I bought the cab empty in 2013 and purchased the V30’s from Avatar in 2013 as well. The original owner bought the amp from Sweetwater for $2,099 in January 2012.

P.S. Post edited to correct some dates - I forget shit and had to dig through receipts 😆

Mesa V30's are superior so your cab is not worth as much as a legit Mesa 4x12. If you pass it off without specifying non-Mesa V30's your karma is all wrong and Steve Fryette will drown a kitten in milk. It it is known.

I stole that one from Starting Strength. Originally it was "Everytime you don't squat before parallel, Rippetoe drowns a kitten in milk."

Works with Dave Ramsey and getting a car note, Anthony Bourdain and a well done steak, etc...
