I doubt they are. Aren't they like big sellers for them? I'm actually saving up for one.

The 594 core singlecut was discontinued. The SC56 40th and the Tremonti are the only singlecuts currently available as far as I can tell

Oh man, I miss the one I had. I had that and the best sounding Les Paul I ever owned at the same time and they sounded almost identical. I love the pickups in them. I hope they keep making them as I want to get another.

Seems too bad if it's replaced by the SC56. Those look to have smaller frets than the 594. And $5k for a weight relieved guitar (the SC56) is insane. For $5k, you can't sort the wood for light weight?

Those say "limited to 400". I see alot of Singlecuts 25% off on various websites, (Eddie's) and some other well-known dealers don't show any in stock at all. In fact, on Moore Guitars, a big PRS dealer, has deeply discounted many PRS's. I think the whole 594 range may be getting a makeover. They've been out for what, 8-10 years?

This is one thing I hate about PRS is the constant introduction, changing and discontinuation of models.

Stop it Paul.

I'm saving up for a 594 singlecut, but if they aren't going to be making them anymore I'm probably going with a an Eggle Macon.

I’m somewhat anticipating a makeover of that 594. IIRC in an interview with Paul recently he stated someone brought in a guitar that had some crazy resonance to it like the old ones and was looking at how it was done via bridge posts (I think it was posts?). I know it’s been done to death on LP’s but I’m always curious to see what sort of nuances he digs out. Also, that truss-less guitar seems to be getting traction from a seemingly “mojo” perspective. For better or worse it’s always interesting for me.

The one in my profile I recently acquired in March, and I was looking for an LPC vibe but its own thing. Overall I’ve come to the conclusion that it reminds me more of a short scale tele than an actual LP (probably the radius, nut, and maple neck with mine).

PRS needs to make the Custom 24 with the thicker body, actually for all their models. More wood is a good thing.
They also need to paint the headstocks on the CE model. Those maple headstocks suck.
Also bring back Whale Blue. That is the best color on any guitar and they hardly do it anymore. Lots of dumb purples tho.

Yeah, I prefer the painted headstock.

They are discontinued. I picked one up new (a 2022) for a great deal a few months ago. Serious kick ass guitar.

As a PRS 594 aficionado, I've watched the market on the single cuts for years. For some reason, on the used market, the single-cut 594s bring a consistently lower resale value than the double-cut 594s.
Maybe people just don't like them?
