I did the deftones album last night, enjoyed it.

Want to go back and give it another spin

I like all of them except for Ohms. I'm glad they went back to Nick Raskulinecz. He did a great job with them on Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan.

I'm still an Around the Fur and White Pony hooker, but they're more nostalgic to me.

I liked Ohms as well as this one. All of them have something good about them. Great band.

Not a Deftones fan but this new album has been on repeat all week. Ive been on a heavy deathcore and melodeath obsession so this new album has been a really refreshing change

Listening to Private Music rn. I'm 6 tracks in. When does it stop being so Emo and start getting heavy?

Deftones new album js so good . Great tones too . My only complaint is it’s mixed loud . There some peaking going on . Kinda bothers me but the songs are great

im a few listens through both..

Deftones... i see a lot of gawking over it, not sure i agree though. i mean its solid, its Deftones.. but its just kind of lacking something. Its a bit uniform and just dosent have that tense atmospheric aura they are so great at. cant say any of the riffs really drew me in, its the first album of theirs im not walking away with at least 2-3 songs that are gonna be on repeat for six months and forever. Id still take it over 90% of newer music i hear, but on a Deftones level im not sure this is what im gonna be going to when im in the mood.

Wolf Alice.. they are my favorite newer band and their last album Blue Weekend is one of my favorite albums ever. they are like early smashing pumpkins meets mamas and the poppas kind of 60s acid rock with a pop twist. this time though they seemed to do what Lana del Ray, Taylor, Billie and other big name females are going for lately which i cant say im really about, which is acoustic guitars, pianos and orchestras the majority of songs. first listen i was kind of like wtf, but unlike Deftones, which i was kind of bored with after a few listens, this shit grew on me like a motherfucker. catchy melodies, great bass lines, vibes. i do wish there was a little bit more grit like their previous albums, but whatever. these are the three best songs
