That was my point. Powell isn’t considering lowering rates because Trump demanded it. His term is nearly over. He’s lowering rates because economic signs and predictions warrant it.

The problem is the fed is stuck, make the currency stronger and raise the rates or help the gobernment pay interest on their debt.
