Actually this bloke is very good.
Wait. If the US is the ass, and I'm a few hundred km (shit, I just lost the Americans) up it...I can prove that the US is the bottom.
Look at all the shit that comes out of it.
I think you're mixing your threads up here a bit...Wait. If the US is the ass, and I'm a few hundred km (shit, I just lost the Americans) up it...![]()

What's that loud sucking sound!?
It’s a Reason Reato. I don’t think very many were made. Blink and ya missed it.
The builder used to work for crate/ampeg. Had some success with the Reason Bambino series and put out the Reato shortly before joining Magnatone and starting up Khan Audio.
Anyways the man attraction is the dope tube driven harmonic trem it has. Kinda swampy and can get some cool thumpy univibe type tones too
He seems like a good dude. I’ve had 7 of his amps and have emailed him several times asking about all of them and he’s been super cool each time. He’s also a St. Louis guy.
My amp tech and friend also worked for St. Louis Music as an amp designer. A few of my other friends worked there too. And all of the primary bass rigs I’ve owned in the last 15 years or so came out of there. Obeid is a bad ass for sure.
He is a cool dude. So is Carlos Bedoya. He seems like a good dude. I’ve had 7 of his amps and have emailed him several times asking about all of them and he’s been super cool each time.
The Reato is getting to the age that I can hopefully send it to him for a service soon.
Yeah yeah yeahWhat's that loud sucking sound!?
Even if I count my trusty Esteban G-10 I haven't owned 7 amps total in my whole life, lol.I’ve had 7 of his amps
I'm about 10 tops and a couple of those were returned within a few days so probably the same as you, 7 or 8 I actually owned.Even if I count my trusty Esteban G-10 I haven't owned 7 amps total in my whole life, lol.
I've had two Twins, a Marshall RI plexi 100w, a Fender 85 red knob, the Esteban, and a '61 Maestro GA-2rvt. Today I have the twins and the Maestro. The solid state amps both broke so I threw them away, lol. I traded the Marshall for a Twin.I'm about 10 tops and a couple of those were returned within a few days so probably the same as you, 7 or 8 I actually owned.
Technically I have 5 amps right now, but 4 of them I built and the only “real” amp I’ve kept since getting a kemper is this Reason one.Even if I count my trusty Esteban G-10 I haven't owned 7 amps total in my whole life, lol.
And you hassled me because I have a nice coffee machine huh.I've had two Twins, a Marshall RI plexi 100w, a Fender 85 red knob, the Esteban, and a '61 Maestro GA-2rvt. Today I have the twins and the Maestro. The solid state amps both broke so I threw them away, lol. I traded the Marshall for a Twin.
I think I have 7...Slackers. I’m not even a guitarist really and I currently own 3 and have owned more than I can remember in my life.
