Dems clearly have a history of dumb choices of candidates, so I could see them, at least as of now, backing Newsome just because there is a lot of buzz around him at the moment.
Personally I’m ready for just a good candidate that can be respected as a leader, and not another clown. I believe the middle can be swayed quite easy to lean left at this point, if the left just stops being retarded for a minute

I will vote for a democrat if they field a decent candidate. As of now I’m all in for Vance. At first I was ambivalent to him but I actually like him now. Trump and the other talking heads lost me over the Epstein files. I have a totally irrational hatred for pedophiles and sexual abusers… after watching a couple Trump interviews with him talking about it I’m convinced he was fucking some teenagers at epsteins playhouse… maybe I’m wrong but I became pretty good at reading people over the years and he struck me as guilty. And I was a big supporter of him. I don’t care who I piss off by saying that either. It’s my opinion.

1 bad interview doesn't necessarily = guilty. But i'm not saying you're 100% wrong either.
The shitty part about the modern "news cycle" is that it's almost impossible to get the real truth about anything. Journalism is pretty much gone at this point. Criminals are presented as lighter colored skin, audio and video is edited to present a certain side, headlines purposely misleading etc.
We the People may never find out the real truth about this, just like JFK. And that is bullshit and it sucks.
