Noodle Warz! All comers welcome!

Paging @SmuggNorris

Dude is the ultimate tan slacks, PRS Private Reserve Yachtsman ever. Hopefully not too busy with fiduciary duties or tuned out on some neo soul on the bow of his yacht to respond.

I must meet this man. I think I’m going to like the cut of his jib!

The most interesting man on rig talk

I saw the PRS Private Reserve bat signal in the sky and felt compelled to take a break from brokering deals between a few Fortune 500 companies. Time is short, but I just wanted to say thank you for the kind words again Mr Bonfire.

And @SI, I consider myself more of a genoa man than a jib man if I do say so myself.

Well, boys, it's time to get back to business. Ain't no one else gonna broker these deals and hit bitches in their feels.

Great seeing you if only for a moment. Have a great weekend Smugg!

Wow, I hope to one day hear more about the deals. Will go right over my head but then that’s what it takes to be inspired! Very nice to meet you!!

My noodles....

The pedal work was awesome, fitted in real well. I do wish I could see your fretting and picking hand for the fast licks haha! But you were turned away from the camera 😅

You weren’t picking everything right, mix of legato and alternate picking? Really nice man

Finally restrung my Strat and wanted a reason to stretch it out a bit.
This backing track is so outta my wheelhouse, its been great practice

1. Beautiful strat, details please!

2. Great playing dude, I very rarely play in major key so this was about as goofy as a fish on a bicycle for me too haha

What kind of stuff do you usually play to?

That strat is pretty killer.

It’s an MJT body I got from a TGP deal.

The neck is probably the nicest neck I’ve ever played. One piece roasted maple from Musikraft. At the time I couldn’t believe I spent like $500 on a random used neck on reverb, but it was covid lockdowns, I was stir crazy and it ended up being worth every penny lol.
Pickups are Joel Dyer greasy hots that I got from a different TGP deal years ago after the Danocaster craze slowed down and people were selling them cheap.

Yum

As far as music wise I only feel proficient in AC/DC and death metal lol. Angus was my first hero and any bands I have played in were always Cookie Monster death.
I will play leads for noodle vids, but I much prefer playing rhythm and composing. Soloing over actual chord changes like this track is pretty foreign to me, or at least not something I do very often.

That Strat is truly stunning, I’ve always wanted to do a partscaster but every time I start to look stuff up, it just adds up to so much…rather as well just buy something on the used market lol

Totally understand the composing part. I also find it more fulfilling than the noodling over chord changes part.

AcDC to Cookie Monster is a big jump man, there’s a lotta room in between 😅😅😅

You should definitely jump in and try putting a parts guitar together. Strats and teles are pretty easy and there are a million options for them. It’s a slippery slope though bro.

Even though I was born in the 80s I was the typical classic rock purist when I was younger. AC/DC and ZZTop or gtfo. Megadeth was about as heavy as I went.

Then I started dating a girl who played bass in some death metal bands and I went down that rabbit hole. It was so much fun to play live but less fun to me now that I’m lame and only jam in the basement lol.
