A guy at my work caused a big stir online. Back on the crews we drove our personal vehicle to whatever neighborhoods we were working in. He happened to be working in a very "Progressive" neighborhood on the south side. His truck had a couple bumper stickers. One was showing support for Darren Wilson and the other said "If you can't feed 'em don't breed 'em". The company didn't fire him, but they made him report to the yard instead of that neighborhood. Then one of the black guys in the yard complained and they "Talked him into" removing the stickers. About 6 months later he put some new stickers on his truck. Confederate flag, some other shit. This time they gave him a choice. Remove the stickers or turn in his badge. He was bitching about it to me, talking about his 1st amendment rights. I asked him how much he wanted his job. You can pick which thing is more important to you. He removed the stickers.
About a year later the dumb fucker called in sick on Friday, went to the lake with his boat all weekend, posted a bunch of pictures of his weekend fun on FB and then called in sick again on Monday. That was it for his job. Now I guess he can have whatever stickers he wants on his truck while he's making $25/hr working for the county highway dept.
