I'm not taking a shot at the Friedman Jose - but to my ears, the clips of the Metro-II are just head and shoulders more refined and authentic to the Nuclear Plexi tone we all know and love. Every clip of the Metro-II I have heard online makes me reach for my (sadly empty) wallet.

Sure don't want to hijack / derail OP's listing. But I was thinking comparo between the Jose - which I 'guess' is geared toward the Brown Sound chasers (along with Vai, and other 80's tones) and the Metro-II, which I think is as close to spot-on VH-1 through 1984 as any master volume amp I have ever heard.
