Great riff choices . Sounds great . I don’t think I’ve ever heard a wizard sound bad . There’s a certain grind that only wizards have . And it seems DS1 accentuates that . Love it

Yeah it's crunchy and thick but also tight as a drum, without any fizz. What a great sound.

Kicks ass! I honestly don't like most of the Wizard clips I hear but this one sounds great. What speakers are in your cab?

Hey thanks for listening. Speakers are V30's in my beloved Bogner oversized 2x12 cab.

AND for those curious, guitar pickups are SD Candy pickups which are alnico 3. VERY low output PAF but they are very clean articulate and snarly sound.

Wizards man... they just track tight but are so open and huge sounding. The only amp that sounds this massive and still retains clarity and tightness imo. I have yet to play anything else that sounds AS huge while also being this tight.

P.S - It might be the magic from that SD-1 acting as clean boost. Level full / tone at 1 o clock / dist off

A great example of low output pickups often pair very well with a high-gain amp set up.

Sounds great! I like high output pickups as well, but I agree that this is a great example of how medium and low output pickups can do great with high gain amps too.

Wizards are huge sounding and tight . I don’t think I’ve heard a bad Wizard yet
