Looking for the right amp…help

Having tried what seems to be most amps out there, and typically gravitating towards high gain modded Marshalls or similar style circuits, I find myself looking for something different. Looking for something from clean to mid gain, crunchy, articulate, tight low end, and harmonically rich…head only, no combos. Wattage is not a concern. This would not be a primary amp, it would be more or less a supplementary amp used in the studio.

Asking for your recommendations based upon the aforementioned criteria. Thank you!

I won't be much help here but I'll chime in with my 2 cents anyway.

In November last year, I bought an O.C. 1983 Boogie Mark2C+ DRG that I sent back to Mike B. to have him fix it up with the switchable ++ mod. After it came back, that's alI I play so decided to sell my Mark V35. Well I played the V35 and after about 5 minutes, it was no longer for sale. I had goosebumps within seconds of playing the tone was so good.
It dials in so many incredible tones with such ease.

The thing shreds! I have a modded Marshall that also sounds great, plus other great amps but the V35 is something unusually awesome, different and versatile, it is not leaving the pack as redundant as it is. It has too much to offer for me and did I mention it totally slays?

You thinking something with some sparkle on the crunch like a Dr Z Z-Wreck? Or like a tough dry crunch like a Fryette Deliverance? Another option could be a Mesa Badlander and just use the Clean mode on both channels, one with gain low and the other cranked up.

The Deliverance is on my radar, would prefer the II+ but hard to find…prefer used to save some cash.

I've owned the Dirty Shirley and the Twin Sister in head form, and are great recommendations.

However, thinking a little outside the box, you mention clean to mid gain, another amp I've owned and I think I'd recommend in this case (I know it's a little different than what others are mentioning), the Boogie Cali Tweed.

Wonderful clean and the breakup is fantastic. 40 watts that can be stepped down to 30, 20 and 10.

An amp I shouldn't have sold.

The HC-30 is definitely an option

I had a DC-30 that I'd sometimes run into a 4x12. That amp turned up to about 11:00 was loud AF but filled the room with this crazy, swirling tone almost like a chorus or some effect was on (there was not). It was really amazing and majestic sounding. Not clean but not overdriven. It wasn't the same with the master volume engaged; you can to run it loud to get there, but man what a sound.
