Who is that doing vocals? Because it for sure doesn't sound like Mave

Sure doesn't :dunno:

I assumed it was either

1. AI
B. Someone else in the band doing some cookie monster verses
3. Dave's voice has aged differently than most
4. He trained his voice for this last spin

Maybe we will find out Friday.

Welcome back

😏

It says video unavailable but I spent zero time searching on youtube. I figured it was due out Friday so maybe someone leaked it too early?

Hmm, I'm in Aus, so maybe it's because we're a little ahead on timezones? (It's Friday 11:09am here)
It's def through the Megadeth page on YT down here

Sounds all right. A lot like the last album.

Love Peace Sells, RIP, Dystopia, Countdown... and So Far So Good So What

SFSGSW has some of the best metal tunes of all time.
Opens with this epic instrumental:

Followed by this. How he sings while playing this (and a bunch of other tunes) blows my mind:

RIP, Countdown, Youth are my favorite tones for me. And Hidden Treasures. SFSGSW didn't do as much for me as these others. Maybe I preferred the more modern production?

Edit: And Marty as Kapo said for sure.

I was never an avid Megadeth fan but for a time I was really into them and Rust, Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia is about as good of a three album run and you'll ever see by and band.

Hate to say it but a lot of that is also do to having Marty in the band. When you get a guy that can play incredible lead breaks and solos around your music, it all comes together. The slingers he has had since are amazing players but none have given me the same feeling Marty did. You can sing his solos vs the other guys who just flat out rip. Awesome to listen to but I am not singing any of their solos back in my head like i would do for Marty's stuff. He's a special player.
