Eyewitnesses say children were zip-tied together, with one agent reportedly laughing and said “F*** them kids,” a witness told Fox News.

Additionally, four of the children detained were U.S. citizens, a DHS spokesperson told Fox.

“They just treated us like we were nothing,” Pertissue Fisher, who lives in the building and is an American citizen, told ABC7 Chicago. Fisher said that agents handcuffed her, pointed guns at her face, and held her for hours until her release around 3 a.m. Photos from the scene showed chaos in the building’s hallways, where broken doors, toys, shoes, and food were scattered around.
