Oh my, that looks awesome.
I've been after a "super strat" style guitar for a while, but whenever I stop into the local big box retailer and play the Fender offerings, I'm never feelin it.
Necks are too thin and the frets are too small.
Looking at the back of the neck in those pics, it looks like that neck has some girth to it, and I'm guessing its gonna have jumbo frets.
Thanks for the heads up!

These are actually kind of thinner but fatter somehow...... Try a couple before you buy but totally agree, they just feel fatter in the hands but slim in the right places and the Jumbo frets and modern offerings are a blessing especially for guys playing 7.25 radius and vintage style stuff their whole life pretty much.....

This stuff is just way better than the traditional stuff and you get nice touches like rolled fingerboards, compound radius and dual locking trem system with carbon fiber rods for even more tuning stability and some other nice touches like the satin necks and other things that really bring even the base models over the top.

Have three San Dimas Style 1 base models but this SoCal is definitely calling

Some other nice ones..... Closest Charvel will get to LPB probably..... In HT and Floyd versions.....

this one should have had a natural headstock. I would have been totally all over it.
Idk for me at that price point matching headstock is where it's at.

Kind of that final touch for that "Custom Shop" look or just a fully tricked/decked out Strat. Kind of what pushes me to get one aside from the Candy Apple Red.....

More of a SanDimas dude but this looks absolutely tits and totally bitchin'..... would be my first SoCal ^_^

One thing I love about Charvels aside from the tone and quality.....

Is when you take them out of the box and people see them..... You plug them in and people hear them.....

And it's always "what is that, looks great........ that's not a Fender is it.?".... "It sounds amazing!"...... Like a charm all the time and every time *_*

Jacksons look like a possible buy. But I cannot do a recessed Floyd. Top mount for me.

I also hate those recessed floyds. Wish they would do more standard trem, ebony fretboard and painted headstocks. Also.. just give us an affordable blue/purple burst Jake E Lee.

Plenty of small builders around and boutique dudes around that can make some campy guitar from a bygone era...... If that is one wants.... But yeah Charvels ain't about that.

What's wrong with a recessed Floyd...... Um you can do more and it shaves weight off, you welcome......... Win win and it just makes 100% sense :dunno:

These guitars are for modern players and modern times..... As Charvels always has been
