I use Eric’s guitars in LA. Best fret jobs around.

On a bound Les Paul neck, frets over binding, it’s $268. Stainless is $65 more. Jescar frets any size.

I had 3- 24 fret shredder guitars done this year.250 each for jumbo frets ( non stainless). Had a hamer 24 fretter & kramer nightswan done in the late 80s.100 bucks.Boy do I miss those days

Just got one done on a LP special, $415 6100’s, NF. Said he “guarantees” though so any adjustments needed in an approximate future are on him. It irritated me thought that he said it would be 3-4 weeks and it took 3 months. He wouldn’t pro-actively reach out. Only reply a couple of days later when I texted him first. He quoted me 350-450 depending on how labor intensive it would be but I have a feeling it’s more related to what his utility bill was in the month he finished. 😂 He’s a nice guy and I didn’t feel like making a big deal about it, so I didn’t give him any grief. Guitar is playing well.

Depends on if binding existist and if they are including a new nut. Also, if it’s a maple board and they have to plane it and you want it to look new, they may need to refinish the board. If it’s refret and a non-Floyd nut, expect to factor that into the price. $450 in Japan. My refret took 4 days.

Bout 500 where I live! Gonna have to learn to do it myself, too much dinero for me. I remember when it was 100 to 150.

Had Jescar SS jumbos put on a Les Paul about 5 years ago. Also had a new brdge pickup installed and all of the wiring changed to 50's style. Cost me $350'ish. That would probably be closer to $450 today.
