Hello RT,

No, this is NOT a v(e) design.....

I ordered another pedal during the GA sale going on and something else came in the box with it.

Wayne pretty much just hooked me up - AGAIN.

I mentioned wanting/needing a buffer for my rig and lo and behold, Wayne hooks me up with this absolute gem of a device!

I am beyond excited to get to testing this out on my board. The dual in/out is a great idea.

If I am correct, this is a Cornish style buffer.

I have only gotten to plug it in for a few minutes, but it feels good under the fingers already.

I will delve into further testing and nerding out ASAP!

Would this restore what I feel I lose when I put my wah in the signal path?

Maybe.

Some pedals are just tone suckers, nothing you can do about it.

That's why I am really picky with the pedals I choose to add to my board. Any pedal can be used in isolation, but you don't want to put something in a chain if you feel it sucks out part of your core sound.

I have a few pedals I can't leave on my board but I really like.

If you are talking about general signal loss though due to long runs, yes, a buffer can help restore some high end frequency. I also find a lot of buffers tend to change the feel of the guitar.

My board is all true bypass currently due to my general dislike of how buffers affect my sound/feel.

I have high hopes for this one, so we'll see!!

usually buffers don't play well with wah's ( true bypass ones ) or fuzzes ( germanium ones anyway ) that's why people put them in their chain before any buffers or pedals that have buffers ...

what kind of wah is it ??? and do you know if it's true bypass or not .... the buffers inside the old cry babies are notorious for killing tone in your signal chain .... that's why usually the first thing done when modding one was taking out the buffer and re wire it for true bypass
