I said earlier in the thread Steeler through Marching Out. Definitive Yngwie to me. Now I own everything through Facing the Animal but I never pull out anything past Trilogy for a listen. I pulled out Odyssey and Fire and Ice because of this thread but they didn't move the needle, at all.
I understand the chorus on Odyssey isn't for everyone but man, the songs are great on that one! Maybe less impressive lead wise ( though Rising Force come on, easily one of his most iconic lead breaks) but I love the songs. Then follow that up with Eclipse and I've jizzed my pants. I think maybe the Yngwie threads should be the albums we rarely reach for at this point. If I am grabbing his stuff off the shelf, it is usually Marching Out, Trilogy, Odyssey, and Eclipse for me. For me the rawest and most driven Yngwie in my opinion, is probably Marching Out. That one is pinnacle fury. I think most of us will agree that Marching Out is special.
