I played one. Man are those thin necks. I wish they were made in the USA but it would be 4K these days.

Cool they are going with the non recessed Floyds.

Necks are not for everyone, they do make USA models.

Check out the Jackson USA Virtuoso series. But yeah IMO these aren't so bad and the quality is going to be a bit better than your Indonesian or Chinese builds to IME being MIM when it comes to Fender/Jackson/Charvel/EVH stuff I've played.

Gotta love these colors too.

And there's always going to be those I want this and that and a fucking pony MotherFuckers.....

But yeah it seems to have what all the butthurt people complain about other models :dunno:

I have the white models, and they're both top notch. Pickups a tad generic, but serviceable, and I love top mounted Floyds. Definitely thin necks - thinner than the Charvel SD & SC, but that's cool - fun to have some variety. I have ZERO regrets in either purchase.

I got the vanilla shake single pickup one, I like that they used alder instead of basswood, I’ll probably swap out the pickup for something more paf’ish and put an old German Floyd on it..cool guitar! Highly recommended!

I played the single hum a few weeks ago and thought it was really good. The pickup while not the greatest of all time, is serviceable and sounded pretty much like I remember my old J90C sounding. I’m content with having that instead of a JB/DD

Yeah honestly some EVH models are great but the only reason I back away or stay away is because they sport Basswood..... I have one Basswood guitar and it's solid...... A 6 point monster and a Waynes World MIJ Squire with Custom Shop 50s and Wilkinson hardware......

But with a Floyd...... I want to be safe and prefer a more robust/durable wood like Alder..... I don't have the time or money to put up with potential issues a softer wood has to offer with a Floyd..... It just comes down to that.

And I've played some sick ass EVH Specials and 5150s too but yeah :dunno:
