If you purchased a new guitar and saw this? Would you send it back

Depends on how cheap you got it.

Full price, send it back.
so it was listed at 3699, they dropped it to 2799, i negotiated 2469. So i found today they admitted it was technically used now, customer return. They said there was an error in their system, So they took more of and got it for 2300.00 not bad for a Custom Shop Charvel. Still looks new aside from the frets.

Sounds like it's still worth it to you but terrible people to deal with.

Frets can be polished, I do it all the time. Setups often suck, and I do my own anyway. If you can't do either, send it back. But, I typically expect any new guitar needs TLC and expect to do some work. If basic maintenance and setup won't make a difference, id return it. My biggest concern would be sprout and level frets. Both would have it packing, for me anyway..

Let's see the whole guitar!

send that shit back. Custom shop should be a premium instrument with white-glove setup and attention to detail. You paid a pretty penny for it, i'm sure. I'm usually pretty easy going and try not to nit pick, but as expensive as CS stuff is, it should be better than that.

Only way i'm keeping it is if they offer a ridiculous discount, and it would have to be like the price of off-the-wall production stuff.

I just received it today and saw a few issues. The case was scuffed, The action was 3 feet of the board, the skunk stripe was not real flush, most of al the frets had corrosion and were dull, looks like rust, This is a New CS Charvel from the dealer too.

Here are some pics.
Fuck that shit.

Send it back asap and they better give you a discount for the replacement

I was just going to comment that I bet the guitar was a return..

Yeah send that shit back......

All my Charvels have been bought new or open box.....

The Open Box one must have been the best set up I've ever had from the factory...... Not a blemish I could find for 3 weeks..... I ended up finding it by accident when I was stretching by accident..... It was a hairline fracture in the paint job between the neck pocket and bucker and stupid small..... But for 580$ and Open Box MIM everything else was solid and you couldn't even notice it really as it's under the strings too and hard to make out unless youre straight up looking directly at it and under it.

All my other MIMs bought new at full price have been nothing short of perfect.....

Id send it back if it's Custom Shop..... Get an MIM or MIJ and just add shit you want to it and make it your own....... Save some money and buy a 6 pack or some Whisky and some good tobacco :dunno:
