My SLO 30 came with a JJ ECC83S in V1 and the rest were the BAD Boutique brand. I ended up with a Tung Sol in V1 . Sounds brighter (in a good way) and more open than JJ . I didn't notice an increase or decrease in gain though

I’ve still got one but haven’t used it in a while . I don’t take advantage of a lot of the features it has but it’s worked great as a clean pedal platform using either the Soldano SLO pedal in the 6L6/US mode or using an AMT S1 preamp pedal in flat/linear mode. Plenty of volume too

Love the Scorpions , fortunate to see them live many times . Out of all the shows I’ve attended over the last 45+ years only Van Halen in 1981 topped this one from the Scorpions

I wasn’t at that particular show but when I saw that double bill I also thought Ratt was a lot better. Bon Jovi was good but they just didn’t do much for me, But with that said I’ve seen Ratt on occasion in concert just fall flat on their face so it doesn’t surprise me somebody thought Bon Jovi...
