Now on my pedalboard I've an SD-1 and a Bogner Red first version. The Bogner red is a very amp like pedal but It is not suited for blues it is too tight. I think I need an overdrive to stack it with the SD1 to create two different sounds.

I've a Pittbull 50/12 combo and it sounds like you've described. The gain channel is not an high gain channell but It sounds very beautifull, clear in a good way and the amp always cuts trough the band mix.

I've own the Xotic BB Andy Timmons and AC booster and imho they are amazing to add "cream", warm and sustain to a gainy sound, but they don't work well just for the rhythms. My question is how does the rc booster behave instead?

For me the buffer in front of the sd1 It helps! I've tried with and without and the tone recovers life and and it more "3D" with a buffer

SD1 with a good buffer pedal in front to recover some freq lost from the bad buffer of the SD1.
