Source Audio Collider, does a decent job of emulate the Roland Space Echo and an Echoplex. Digital delay sounds great too.
The reverb algos are pretty great too. Best spring I've heard in a pedal (though I still use a real one).
First clip of sloppy playing:
Jackson Pro Dinky w/ Arcane Powerdozers in Drop C into the MTL then into my Boss Waza TAE and using some random Friedman 412 M25+V30 IRs I have on my computer (really need to figure this shit out better).
I'm surprised how similar sounding this thing is to my GZA...
Yup, I don't expect the MTL to replace it though since I tend to use the MCII like it's a Plexi.
Pending how I vibe with this MTL I may have a decision to make between it and my Hermansson and my Hellion...or I just keep them all and die broke.
Managed to score an MTL for $3200! Using public transit with a 100w'er is a fucking bitch. Tolex has a handful of dings but it sounded nice and deafening so not gonna worry at this price.
Whose got some recommended settings for me to try when I get home? Especially with whatever the Sweep/Pull...
My wall voltage dips down to 108ish regularly (probably have too much on one circuit), and I found it kept making my amps sound dull and bloated.
Wasted time swapping tubes a bunch until I finally invested in a BLA PG-2R which keeps it at a stable 120v and it's been noticeably stable.
No clips on their site?
That bridge Tele doesn't look that high of output (8.47K), but also wtf is "output: 200" even mean? Also magnent is "alnico"... I mean it's probably a 5 but 2s aren't uncommon in teles.
Came in here about to say I've got a quad of JJ E34Ls I won't make use of anytime soon, but if you change your mind let me know.
Pulled out of my GZA Hellion when Jeremy upgraded it to KT66s. Can test and send photos from my Orange Valve Tester.
So a ground loop is most likely occuring regardless of your loop's quality.
The quality (noise level) of an FX loop is just going to exacerbate a ground loop that may have been previously imperceptible.
