New Megadeth track- Tipping Point

Megadeth is great, Dave is a legend, ive been a fan since i was a kid, but it blows my mind that they are the opening band for Disturbed, i think the tour before that they was opening for Death punch, whats the deal? Why cant they draw enough fans to headline big shows anymore? Dave annouced its the final album and next year is the final tour, i would like to think they could draw a big crowd each night, they have been around for 40 yrs have a large fanbase. Are they a support band next year too?
Once Dave gave in to doing that it got his brand stuck in that area of touring . Instead of headlining with younger heavy bands opening and doing smaller shows he gave in . Always try to be big with the radio crowd . Def hurt the Megadeth brand and legacy

I thought his voice sounded good but apart from that it didn’t do much for me. I guess I’m an outlier as I don’t care for the recent guitar tones they’ve had.

I’ve really enjoyed the tones on last 3 . Why you not like ? What’s his best tone ? In your opinion

What Marshall is Dave using these days? His tone sounds good. Good to also see they haven't tried to be anything but themselves.
I have no idea what amp that is. That said, it sounds almost identical to my Marshall JVM 410H on the OD1 orange mode with the gain set around 11 o'clock.

To be fair, no one has ever correlated Dave's vocals to Pavarotti or the like. They are what they are LOL!
Yeah like

Megadeth enjoyers prefer the vocals to be shitty lol. Especially back when Dave could still snarl.

Adds to the vibe of the music, really. Guys who could growl like Dio could pull it off, but can you imagine Peace Sells sung by Don Dokken or James LaBrie?

I can't.
