The way I was looking at it was that one could have 8 blocks, with or without effects, such that you can program a full VH4, ch1-ch4, as well as 4 other channels from whatever else the amp has in it. I'd love the smaller VH amp, but if this has the effective 8 channels, it may take precedent...
