Megadeth Rust in Peace Guitars only.

I could never get past the dichotomy of the lyrics and Chris's shirtless buff 6 pack. Looks like a guy who really really really watches what he eats and has a gym membership. No doubt. Doesn't quite mesh with the "grunge" movement. Good singer tho, could always hit the high notes ala Robert...

Jesus Lord how did you get this? It was amazing, thanks so much. Any other Megadeth albums like this, just the guitars?

    Mustaine/Megadeth Lead tone

I know. I just accept it cause that's just the way he is. Took awhile though :)

    Mustaine/Megadeth Lead tone

But no effects or special EQ settings for his leads? Sounds like a cocked wah sometimes.

    Mustaine/Megadeth Lead tone

Dave's lead tones seem to be different than the rhythm but it' still pretty straight forward, yet I can't put my finger on it. I haven't seen much online or live, maybe his tech is turning on/off effects for him? Is it just an eq that boosts certain frequencies? I find the same tone happening in...

What do you use for lightweight grab and go practice amp?

What about the Boss katana's? I love mine in the living room but haven't tried it outside of that. The brown sound is really good IMO.

Rick Beato shows tone changes on a Variac - EVH content

I was thinking the same...behind the beat...but it certainly played a huge part in his rhythm playing especially, felt smoother. Why don't these "testers" every play lead parts, JF we all get the rhythm tones I wanna hear the effect on the lead parts.

    4th string issue

Same. Open D sounds fine so it's just in that fret range.

    Reverb pedal for live use

Thanks, this seems to be what I'm looking for ala Ted Templeman.

    Reverb pedal for live use

I have a loop but not adjustable, wouldn't the level pot on the RV-6?

    Reverb pedal for live use

I have a MXR Carbon Copy for a delay, does anyone use this pedal or similar in a live rig but also with reverb? Not sure if reverb works for live situations on top of the delay. Just got back into playing live so looking to try something different.

    4th string issue

Hey Guys, Not sure if this is a common issue or much discussed but couldn't yield a search result. Anyways I find when I palm mute the D string anywhere from the 3rd to 12th fret it's very dead, like not chunky. I'm pretty sure it's fretting out or can't take a heavy stroke but my 5th and 6th...
