Dave's lead tones seem to be different than the rhythm but it' still pretty straight forward, yet I can't put my finger on it.
I haven't seen much online or live, maybe his tech is turning on/off effects for him?
Is it just an eq that boosts certain frequencies? I find the same tone happening in...
I was thinking the same...behind the beat...but it certainly played a huge part in his rhythm playing especially, felt smoother.
Why don't these "testers" every play lead parts, JF we all get the rhythm tones I wanna hear the effect on the lead parts. :no:
I have a MXR Carbon Copy for a delay, does anyone use this pedal or similar in a live rig but also with reverb?
Not sure if reverb works for live situations on top of the delay.

Anyways I find when I palm mute the D string anywhere from the 3rd to 12th fret it's very dead, like not chunky.
I'm pretty sure it's fretting out or can't take a heavy stroke but my 5th and 6th...
