I hear ya. I was wishing I could've given it a little gas when I played it at NAMM, but not happening there. I think it's going to come down to me just ordering one so i can actually play it at a more proper volume and hope for the best. That said, it sounded great at NAMM and it most definitely didn't need a boost or anything to tighten it up - it was just right the way it was for me.
