Sweetwater loves you. Roll with it and anticipate dem Toosite Rolls...
Not a bad haul to go with my $3.50 pedalboard adhesives, shipping included. I also got a personal email and phone call upon order AND follow up after delivery. I feel pretty special.

You must spend a lot of money. SW Salemen are like Strippers..
You walk in and it's like Mosquitos to a Bug Light..

To let me know my strings will “be here soon” even though I ordered them 2 days ago and tracking shows they haven’t even been shipped yet.

There better be 2 rootbeer barrels in there…
you'll be getting those red and white mint wheels. maybe a banana laffytaffy or bit-o-honey

edit: as seen above!

You should've told them you have been waiting for them to call (ABOUT TIME) and then go full prima donna about your gear, tone, gigs, and stage craft. Just waste a ton of the reps time. Order small things and then contact your rep and reps boss when you don't get your follow up call. They'll probably leave you alone after that.

I tell ya, years ago when I was dealing with Musicians Friend's employees at the time, who didn't seem to know a guitar from an antelope, it was refreshing dealing with Sweetwater. When I went up to their annual Sweetwater Fest, it was amazing and a lot of fun.

I've got a good rep at MF for a few years, and I can usually get better discounts vs SW on the same gear.

A recent guitar I purchased from SW is missing the trem arm set screw, so much for their 55-point inspection. Luckily, I'm fine with it swinging loose. My guess it was a floor model they sold as new.

If MF has them in the warehouse, I can request and get a factory sealed box. Out of several guitars, one box was opened so I called her and sent it back; hasn't happened again. When I order, I tell her make sure it's a factory sealed box or I'm sending it back.

I heard they are better now which is good.

Day 11 and no strings from Sweetwater. I’m a little disappointed in my sales guy’s follow up on this order. I thought we were friends

Im still working through all the garbage candy my girls didn’t eat after Halloween
That's what Sweetwater candy is. All of the candies that none of the children want...anywhere. Its like the Land of the Misfit Candies.

I actually feel for the sales guys at Sweetwater. You know no sane person would want to reach out that much but it’s got to be a hard-core metric that is hammered into them. Corporate policy is always a hammer. Never nuanced. They don’t care about the different personality types of customers, some who don’t like to be bothered. They’ve already calculated that they gain more profit, even bothering the few who don’t like it.
