Thanks for the idea babmusic, now it's time to put in some overtime at work

This actually cost me less than if I were to order a gold one from Sweetwater. The only catch is that I had to pick it up in person. Just email Dave.

ill say, i use the IR-J and i plugged it into the fx loop return of a product that shall remain nameless--- and i preferred the IR-J preamp.... Dave did a fantastic job on the Jake line of product.
Is this the same John Hurley that works / worked for 3rd Power ?

yes, that was IR-j in all of them through the 2000's fx loops
Wow, sounded great. Exactly how I thought the IR-J would shine, through a non master volume amp.

I tried the IR-J through the loop of my Friedman Little Sister Combo and in that case I preferred the Little Sister's pre-amp gain to the IR-J for some reason, but I prefer the JEL-20 amp over the Little Sister amp.

BTW, amazing playing, you could make anything sounds great!!!!!

Congrats and HNJELD

Good job on tones and demo
Thanks.
I am loving the amp.
I just made a few YouTube vids with it and my Pink Taco to backing tracks, I love when the wife is out.
The Pink Taco is also an amazing amp, great high gain tones.
These two are definitely my favorite amps I own, followed by the Little Sister and JJ Junior.

i am no longer with 3p. but yes, thats me.
Cool...funny, I had a JEL-20 head as a little backup for my Wizard MC25 and when the time came to put it to use in the middle of a gig I wasn’t a happy camper with how it sounded. Sold it the next day and lucked into a 3rd Power Citizen Gain CSR 40 that’s been my mainstay ever since.... now looking seriously at an IR-D as a small backup option to that. Before the JEL-20 head I had an IR-X / Power Station I was bringing out as a backup and it was just too much shit to bring, but the IR-X was cool. The new Tone King pedal looks promising too, hoping they can implement the phase inverter tech from that and the Synergy modules into the other IR-(ABC...) pedals.

Never heard of the Citizen Gain.. looked it up and looks like the perfect combo of American Cleans and British Crunch. Does it sound like a Fender and a Marshall?
