Anything special? Guitar? Amp? Pedal? My amazing son bought me this Jackson for my Birthday and while not being the crown jewel of my collection, it's been so much fun to play and keeps me motivated to pickup and spend time with it whenever I walk past. Y'all have anything exciting recently or on order?

Super jealous! Those are both badass

Picked this up on my trip to Japan a few weeks shop. PRS Studio Custom 24 in Pearl Black. Absolutely love it. The DMO pickups are a little darker than I normally like but still really good. The neck pickup is awesome the bridge pickup is good just wish it had a tad more bite.

The guitar plays itself and so resonate. Love the way I can feel the vibration when playing.

This is my latest NGD. Got it in a few days ago. Had to level the frets just a smidgen and recrown and polish them to get rid of a few farting out bends and a couple notes that were buzzier than I like, but I love this guitar. I think I'm going to design a signature model with a swamp ash body, Floyd, and scalloped board with a birdseye af neck and DiMarzios.

I'm not a believer in "tone woods" and how mahogany needs a Duncan JB to sound good, or how ash needs a DiMarzio Fred to sound good, etc. But the swamp ash body is very resonant and light and the sustain is great for a Floyd. Of course, the giant block of brass of a sustain block probably helps.

Really surprised by the pickups in the Jackson for what it is. Not going to say they're stellar, but have no reason to replace them, either. Good enough to be a different color on the palette. Although, did recently swap a dimebucker into the Kramer in lieu of the factory JB. 1000% better on all fronts.

Not much of a fan of PRS, but that color is really cool and unique. ❤️

How are you getting along with that scalloped neck? I've only ever had one guitar with it that was also a parts caster. Had owned it for a couple of years and the neck started to develop a twist, so I took it off to find the PO had drawn a penis on the heel and boobs in the neck pocket. :rolleyes:You boys. :ROFLMAO:
