Just recently had this parts guitar put together. Turned out great! So much fun to play! Dimarzio super distortion and air Norton, Vega trem, musikraft neck… ready to shred 😂 🤘

I’ve got a few guitar build / refurbish projects going on at the moment that we’ll eventually get to. But the newest addition to my pile o’ stuff is this little rig right here. Kind of blown away how good it sounds and feels…running it into regular speaker cabinets with the IRs off and power amp sim on you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

2025 Factory modded Caparison TAT

I used to have a TAT Special and wonder how does this differ from the ones with the 5 way rotary switch? Is it just two of those selections or something else entirely?

I sold the Standard '61 I had over a year and went back to the fatter neck of the Standard. Same color.
That color is awesome....I really tried to love the 61’ I had but it was too skinny and made it feel stupid flat. Ditched it....I’ve got a mid 2000’s faded that seems to have the perfect size neck, it’s mid refinish so we’ll see....still haven’t settled on a color to spray it, but it will be blingy metal flake for sure hahah

I picked up one of the 61 standards when sweetwater blew them out for $1000 a couple months ago. I really like the neck on it. I know the color isn't for everyone but it's grown on me.

I did a thing today, it had been a while since I had brought a new guitar home. There was a Wolfgang on Marketplace that has been sitting there for a while, the seller was opened for trades. I offered him my Strat (MiJ), never bounded with it anyway, had a love hate relationship with it. His Wolfgang is 10/10 like new. It will make a great companion to my other Special.

Yeah, they're blowing out the Silver Mist also They're discontinuing that color too.

I missed the rounded neck of the Standard I had, that I ultimately sold to try the '61. Loved the guitar - played and sounded great, but I like a little beefier neck.

This is based on the original 90s TATs. Much different tonally than the newer TAT specials.

The wiring/switching is custom, specific for my needs with the added Fishmans.

That purple. Might need a cigarette after seeing that one

I might have to pick up a silver ‘61. That color with the black pickguard looks great

Larrivee Baker T standard. Bought on a whim 'cause it great deal.. Really fun guitar. Super light and resonant and a very shreddable neck although super thin and takes some adjusting to. . Not at all like any tele I have had in that regard but plays fast and easy.. It is a really good quality instrument..

Picked this Jet JS-700 as a beater to leave out in the bedroom, living room ect. Wanted this color combo in a super strat since I was a kid watching the Sammy Hager concert from St. Louis on MTV. Not a bad guitar for $400. Roasted maple neck is nice and a tad beefier than your typical super strat neck. The stock pickup was muddy trash so I threw in a SD that I had laying around. Jury is still out on the Wilkenson trem. Need some more time with it. Usual cheaper trem issues, fine tuners are a bitch to turn and the trem arm is unusually long.

Only two I’ve picked up two this year. A rather worn 1980 LPC I wouldn’t feel bad thrashing on tour, and bought this PureSalem Cardinal on a whim off reverb because I always dug their take on the shape and love the tele headstock on these older models. Probably the only two I’ll get this year as I’ve got a refinish project on another LPC of mine coming up.
