She said songwriting and PF wouldn't have been PF without his writing so...yeah Roger Waters. And imo the Gilmour playing bass on most of PF is a stretch at best. And for the record Waters is a douche and I'm a Gilmour fanboy. But Waters should get his props.

It's not though. Something like 60% of all recorded PF songs are Gilmour on bass.

And for the record, I also think Waters wrote a lot of great songs. He is a shit bassist though. My kid went to see him a couple years ago. Dude, he ain't even playing bass in his own shows even though he has a bass literally in his hands. There's another guy on stage playing bass. The fact that there's a Roger Waters signature P bass is retarded. It's even more retarded than Billie Joe Armstrong having a signature guitar.

It was killer.
Getting to see those guys play thst shit live, was insane. My amigo, who was a photographer, and I, snuck in his camera and a lens, in our jacket collars under our hair. So, he got the photos.
I saw Cacophony about a year later in SF. No photos, sadly.

I read it in an interview with Gilmour. His exact words were “ over half”.

Waters did come up with the riff in Money.
