Sad to hear. 😢 Did you leave the speaker cable for a long time?

so it looks like an output tranny is 230 bucks not shipped ... from either the Mesa store or Mercury Magnetics ...

if your lucky something else might have went before that could ....

I would start watching vids on how to check to see if your OT is dead ....

You think there would have been a fuse or something in line. Still powers up fine…switching works. I can’t believe this happened. It sounded great.

Can I pull the ot out of my ultra + and put it in there? I’m a noob but I don’t give no fucks….

I don't think it's a power problem .... but there's more qualified people on here to maybe know what that noise is .... I've never heard anything like that ...

I've never run into a blown OT before either .....

Like. How long?
No idea. I play in stereo constantly but I don’t play often. When I turned it on and took it off standby, then messed with it for a bit and shut it down. Probably five minutes tops from power up to shut down…

I've always managed to catch no load situations within 10 seconds or so, but I don't run stereo.

I guess it's possible to fry a tranny even in that timeframe with high enough volume.

Hope it's just a fuse or something bro.

Damn, that sucks dude ! I am assuming you have already tried a bunch of stuff, different cable, different speaker out, different speaker in, different amp into the cab, that sort of stuff. I have never really heard one sound like that before, but I am no expert. Does not sound good ,,,,
