Proof there are aliens

The first 10 minutes are actually pretty scary. 3 Body Problem is probably much closer.

Which reminds me Dan, 3IAtlas is actually speeding up as it gets extra velocity from 'sling shotting'.

Slingshotting makes me thing of how sophisticated we already are. Earlier we talked about the possibility of an alien species making us look like apes, meanwhile we can plan something like the Europa Clipper mission that over the course 5 years will slingshot around Mars, back to earth and on its way to Jupiter. That’s just crazy

I was alive, not aware, when Apollo 13 HAD to slingshot around the moon or die on their fake trip to the moon. Its one thing to plan that out. Totally different when it is on the fly (although probably already a contingent).

Maybe we are having trouble landing on the moon because it’s just too damn round. We only have practice landing on flat things like the earth

So true, we apply our own logic and capacities to space travel when analyzing but that may not be even remotely applicable when it comes to alien life.

There is never ever going to be any proof of alien life. Ever. I don't know why people keep holding on. I love big foot, nessie, all that shit.
But after 54 years of NOTHING. I tapped out.

I hear ya. I believe it's possible, but not very likely from the evidence that has presented itself

I think it depends what you consider “life”.

I’m quite confident we will find very probable evidence of photosynthetic marine life within the next decade. Walking talking complex organisms though? Probably not anytime soon
 
Latest observations point to 3I/Atlas being a very high percentage of water compared to comets originating from within our solar system
 
They are hoping to get a close look of this with the Juno probe in March when it nears Jupiter

It might be enough to get someone from the moon to Mars.
Getting back off of Mars seems to always be the hang up though

It depends on how much of an atmosphere Mars has. They say it has none and then show little helicopter drones flying around.

I’ve never heard anyone say that Mars didn’t have an atmosphere.
