Didn't realize nobody else posted on this. For $640 has a ton of gain. Seems like a quiet release. This guy bought one before the official release...kinda funny the yt influence committee didn't get vids up first.

Interesting, I hadn't heard about this.
I had an idea to build myself a single ended JCM800 style amp with a 6v6 for low volume home use, but I just checked my local big box retailer, and I can't buy the parts for that build anywhere close to what these go for new.
I'm going to try to demo one of these asap.

I might grab one of the 15 watt heads. I am definitely gonna grab the 40 watt head if they make it.

It just sounds better though . There’s really something about those 4 tubes going . But I get it . The size is not as cool these days

The EVH 50-watts can be had for $550-$800 used (I got my 6L6 w/ the matching 2x12 for $850 a couple years ago), I can’t imagine grabbing one of these when you can just grab one of those for about the same price.

That was my initial thought as well, but actually a lot of people say they prefer the Iconic. I need to try one of these, probably the 80 watt head though.

This guy has played a lot of Kirk Hammet in his time.. that vibrato

As for the amp.. I don't know about this hybrid preamp channel though. So it is transistors into 2 preamp tubes? I'm just not that excited about that. Sound is crispy which will be great for chuggers but not as great for cock rocking.
