I love Les Pauls and thrash! But i get it, you want something more "pointy". Guild X-82 Nova with stop tail from the 80s would be awesome imo. ...but i would also drink beer from a champagne glass, in case of need ;) Edit: oh, i've just seen that Funk'n Metal mentioned the Nova already..
