I bought some picks in 1976 that my bass player is still using. Pick he has used most since 2002.
I bought them in Soo Saint Marie. I think they are Clayton. Large Triangle.
Drummer I worked with made murals with them. Artist for a living.
I just use them till I lose them.
I have the ToneX. It's pretty versatile by it's self.
As far as I can tell most of the better known digital stuff can sound pretty good. For me it's more about does it cover my needs.

Having more control over the bass is what I am usually doing if using a overdrive.

I used Jazz III for over a decade and switched back to the Yellow. I use all the colors. But Yellow the most.
Last few years I use the free Red from Guitar Center the most.
