What’s an amp you want to give a second chance

I had a Hughes and Kettner Grandmeister 40 and regretted selling it so I bought a BlackSpirit200. Then I realized it had pretty much a similar sound and it's not really for me. There's just something so loose and flabby in the low end and even with a TS boost it doesn't tighten it up as much as...

UPS to Cut 12,000 Jobs as Wages Rise and Package Volumes Fall

My hunch is that all the people who order groceries for delivery or pickup, get priority over in-store shoppers. Whenever a shipment comes off the delivery truck, they immediatley start putting together all the orders for people who are too fat to walk around the store and get for themselves.

A happy metal-ish song I've been working on

Can you describe how I would do that? (The plugin I use has a boost function on it already that is engaged.

What's the tone in your head?

The tone I've been trying to get is at 4:03 to 4:10. There are so many factors that go into the tone that I'm hearing that's its not easy to replicate it....especially since it doesn't sound like the tone on the actual record.

A happy metal-ish song I've been working on

Something changed with the quality now. Earlier today when I posted it it sounded nice and full, just like how the actual file sounds thats on my phones drive. But listening to it now on the same SoundCloud link it sounds really weak and thin and all treble.

A happy metal-ish song I've been working on

Thanks you're not far off with the 6505 guess that's pretty close. I had two tracks with one amp only for the longest time but just re recorded the second track using a different tone altogether just yesterday.

I like it alot and recommend it, though I don't have any experience with anything else so I may be the wrong one to ask lol

A happy metal-ish song I've been working on

Thanks! I think the bass is a tad loud in the mix but I will have to learn about how to do what you're suggesting.

What is your tone blending technique when recording?

Thats the great thing about using a plugin like NAM, you can adjust all the parameters in real time, change ir's, etc.

What is your tone blending technique when recording?

I don't know which amp has or is missing which frequencies, so I'm doing it just to experiment. It's like, oh this amp sounds cool, and this other amp sounds cool but different; put them together and then...well now I hear both amps. I'm not sure if it's better or not but I hear them both. It...

What is your tone blending technique when recording?

Ive been messing around with blending two tones (amps) together and I was wondering what are the best methods to do this? (I know, personal preference/I have to experiment/whatever sounds best to me, blah blah). But how do YOU blend multiple tones together? Hard pan one tone/track left and hard...

Tone Reminder 2:No Rest for the Wicked

That climbing pentatonic lick in the Fire In The Sky solo showcases his awesome lead tone. It sounds a bit far away compared to No More Tears tone, but still sounds great to me.

    New ESP models

Korean made LTD's are no more special than PRS SE guitars. I don't think either guitars are worth more than $1000 brand new. I remember just 10 years ago you can get a used PRS SE Custom for 300 bucks all day.
