Curious. Was just considering a w/d/w set up with my Lonestar and thought I might try the M4 in it's loop.

... and the new stuff has been displayed, do you think we may see some new mods? Or anything new in that department? I would love to see clean mods based on the Roland JC and Mesa Lonestar. I'd also like to see an Egnater mod based on the Uberschall and/or XTC. I'm just sayin' Dave

I'm a Mesa fan and have played and owned many Mesa amps. I'm not sure I "get" the E-Rect mod though. It's a nice mod but to my ears, has less gain on tap than the EG5 and so it's not going to do what I had hoped. So... I'll leave my Mesa tones to my Mesa amps and try something else. Let me...

It seems that way to me. I definitely get more hiss from the EG5 as I crank the gain and master than other mods.

Does your VHT poweramp make sounds when you shut it off and it's cooling down? I hear a few ticks or clinks for a few minutes after I turn it off. Thanks. Dave

I'm still really new to using separate preamps and poweramps. Does it matter what gets turned on first? Last night I ran the M4 outputs into each channel of the VHT 2/50/2 and then to 2 CAA 1x12 cubes. I had the output knobs on each channel of the VHT at noon. Presence and Density 7am (off)...

After selling aeoric's EG3/4 to RockStarNick, I'm left with a T/D and MHG. My M4 is coming with an EG5 and a module of my choice. What would you guys add as a 4th module to this set? I'm thinking E-rect or SL2. Dave

I know some of you use a GCP with the M4. I plan to when my M4 arrives. But I was wondering how you have implemented the channel changing with the GCP. In other words, it would seem that since the M4 has 4 two channel modules, do you use 8 different buttons on the GCP to access each module...

I'd like to run my M4 into one of the loops of my Mesa Road King II and switch from the M4 to the RKII with my GC Pro and GCX Audio Switcher. Anyone doing anything like this? I'm curious about how you'd wire this up. Thanks. Dave
